Nukanti Foundation for Children (NFC) is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing hope and healing to marginalized children affected by extreme violence.

Volunteer in Colombia

Volunteer short term or long term on a rolling bases in Colombia with Nukanti Children's Foundation. We have various projects throughout the regions of Colombia so we can work with you depending on your area of interest and expertise. Learn more about our various types of volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer in Mancora, Peru
Robin Hood Project is our sister NGO located in Peru, and we partner working with them in their After School centre and Literacy programs. The activities you can expect to do as part of your volunteer placement in Mancora are as follows:  organising ice breakers; coordinating sports days; teacher assistance; knowledge & skill transfer; assisting on other associated community projects.

VOLUNTEER DONATIONS

Full-time Volunteers
We request a one-off donation of  US$600  per Volunteer (Duration 1 month). For volunteers wanting to stay for longer periods we can provide a reduction a reduction in cost to $450 a month after the first initial month. 
*donation includes accomodation, breakfast, and in-country transport

Part-time Volunteers
We request a  donation of  US$50  per volunteer per week (minimum of 2 weeks). Your donation ensures the continuation of our work with the children in Peru & Colombia and goes directly to help sustain the projects.

Where does the money go?
Volunteer donations go directly to the projects for the children- Your participation with Nukanti Foundation for Children will help bring a change in the lives of many children in Colombia and Peru. Through partnerships with local projects, we work to fight against the violation of children’s rights. All donations go directly to the projects for children and to cover organizational costs we absorb for the placement, accomodation, food, and local transportation of the volunteers.
